BIO

Tan is a registered oral health therapist with 15 years' experience in dental public health. His expertise includes clinical education, oral health economics, health practitioner regulation, policy and advocacy. He is the Spokesperson for the National Oral Health Alliance and is part of the Oral Health Economics Research Stream at Deakin Health Economics. Tan is also a Senior Research and Policy Officer within the Chief Strategy and Engagement portfolio at Dental Health Services Victoria, and a PhD candidate at Monash University using priority-setting methods for oral disease prevention.
