BIO

Mony's current research interests include three key themes that are tied to "organisational frontlines". The first theme is related to ambidexterity literature focusing on organisational frontlines pursuing conflicting tasks. The second theme is related to maximising frontline service employees performance through various organisational and individual mechanisms. Her latest and most recent research theme focuses on the issues of technology usage and its implications in transforming the way frontline workers serve their customers. Mony has published in journals such as Journal of Retailing, Journal of Service Research, European Journal of Marketing, among others.

 

Mony's previous research and current research are quantitative studies - survey-based research. Mony has had over eight years of experience teaching, chairing and developing different marketing units across different countries in Asia and Australia. Prior to joining academia, Mony worked in industry in senior management roles ranging from Business Consultant to Chief Operating Officer for Alegria Cambodia.
