BIO

Dr Louise Alexander is an Associate Professor in Mental Health Nursing at
Deakin University Burwood, in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, in the
Faculty of Health. Louise has a background in forensic mental health nursing
and has extensive experience in mental health nursing education, including
curriculum design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Louise is a
core author of a first edition mental health nursing textbook and has
published in the area of attitudes towards mental illness, simulation in
mental health and workforce resilience. Louise is interested in mental health
nursing workforce recruitment and retention, stigma, and mental health nursing
curriculum.
