BIO

Dr Tseen Khoo is an Associate Professor, Researcher Development (EMCR), with the Researcher Development Academy, Deakin University. She researches in the field of critical university studies and has published on early career researcher experiences, building researcher communities, digital academic identities, and racial diversity issues.

Tseen created and runs the internationally recognised researcher development and research culture blog, The Research Whisperer (researchwhisperer.org) with her colleague Jonathan O’Donnell.

Tseen has previously been a member of the La Trobe University RED (Research Education and Development) team, a Senior Advisor (Research Grant Development) at RMIT University, and a Research Fellow at Monash University and the University of Queensland. She started her academic career as a literary studies scholar and is the founding convenor of the Asian Australian Studies Research Network (AASRN; 2006-2017).
