BIO

Siobhan has worked as a Research Fellow at the Global Centre for Preventative Health (GLOBE) at the Institute of Health Transformation, Deakin University on the VicHealth Local Government Partnership (VLGP) and on the Pregnancy Translation Research Ecosystem (PRT-E) initiative, both of which involved applying systems thinking approaches to complex problems. 

Siobhan has also worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, Norway and the University of Cape Town, South Africa where her work focused on understanding the role environments play in children’s diet and physical activity and exploring the methods that can be used to assess and monitor food environments.

Siobhan's teaching experience at Deakin has included positions as Public Health Medicine Lecturer and Research Scholar Program Coordinator at the School of Medicine and  as a Unit Chair/Lecturer at the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences.
