Aiswarya graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Madras with an Integrated Masters degree in Development Studies and was awarded the Institute Blues Silver award for the best outgoing student . She completed her Master of Business in Sport Management from Deakin University, Melbourne in 2021 under the Deakin Times Vice Chancellor's Meritorious Scholarship Program.

She is a creative director in the Indian film industry and the Founder of Studio ழ - a media strategy and production house in Chennai. Her skill sets include Content Development, Creative direction, Sport and Strategy Consultancy.

She is a part of the prestigious Vice Chancellor's Professional Excellence Program at Deakin University. She brings in strategic management experience from major organisations from across the globe including Australian Open, F1 Grand Prix, Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and Victorian Premier Cricket. She has worked in the direction team of Modern Love Chennai (Amazon Prime) , TEST (Netflix) amongst other projects.

She is currently pursuing her PhD is Sport Media with a focus on Rivalry Branding in Indian Cricket. In her freetime, you can see her honing her feature film script, watching films, playing any sport and hyping up Fincher to anyone she can find.

I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Initiative (A2I2). I joined Deakin University in 2021 as awardee of the Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Institute for Frontier Materials. I work at the cross-roads of material science, physics, chemistry and AI, and leverages the AI expertise at A2I2 for solving challenging problems in material science. I was awarded his PhD degree in Physics in 2017 from the University of Sydney, and have since worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Technology Sydney, RMIT University until I moved to Deakin University.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Learning Futures whose work is centred on academic development: how academics grow, make sense of their practice, and build sustainable teaching and scholarly identities over time. My academic identity is grounded in relational and reflective leadership. I work alongside educators to support confidence, agency, and professional growth, and to create institutional conditions where teaching, scholarship, and recognition are integrated rather than experienced as fragmented or transactional.

My contribution is characterised by leadership across a connected portfolio of university-wide academic development initiatives. I lead the Reflective Peer Teaching Development Program, the Teaching and Learning Conference, and Practice Spotlight sessions, and coordinate the Vice-Chancellor’s and Australian Awards for University Teaching. These initiatives are intentionally designed as an integrated academic development ecosystem rather than standalone activities. They support educators to reflect on practice, learn with peers, develop scholarly teaching narratives, and navigate pathways of recognition and leadership across career stages. This work has strengthened engagement in professional learning, increased participation in teaching recognition, and supported academics across disciplines to position teaching as a core academic strength.

Mohamed Abdelrazek is Professor of Software Engineering at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute (A2I2). He is interested in engineering robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems that include GenAI and RL approaches. Mohamed has more than 20 years of software industry, research and teaching experience. Before joining Deakin University in 2015, Mohamed worked as a senior research fellow at Swinburne University of Technology and Swinburne-NICTA software innovation lab (SSIL). Mohamed moved to Australia in 2010 to do his PhD in cloud computing security. Before that, Mohamed was the head of software development department at Microtech, a large software house, managing large-scale products/projects and managing a team of more than 40 people including business analysts, designers, software engineers, and quality assurance engineers. Mohamed has deep experience in designing, developing, integrating, and managing large-scale software systems including military process automation, ERP, and CRM systems.

Mohamed is an active researcher in automated software engineering, cloud computing security, formal methods, high-performance computing, IoT, and data science. He has numerous research articles published in top-ranked international journals and conferences including: ICSE, ASE, FSE,  RE, JSS, TSE, IEEE Transactions in Parallel and Distributed Computing, IEEE Transactions in Service Computing. 

Hamid is a Senior Academic and Director of Postgraduate Studies at Deakin University's School of Engineering. He brings extensive global experience, having held positions at four universities across three continents. His expertise spans instrumentation and control systems, artificial intelligence and robotics, electronics and IoT, and system simulation and optimization. Hamid is also a passionate innovator and entrepreneur.
