BIO
Celine's research focuses on young children's digital play, with a special interest in exploring adult-child interactions and the role parents and caregivers play in supporting young children's play and language development.
She is particularly interested in the use of systemic functional linguistics to investigate adult-child interactions, particularly the nuances of adult talk. By bridging her linguistic background with early childhood studies, her work examines how adult verbal scaffolding guides and shapes young children’s learning across various digital, physical, and social settings.
