BIO
Professor Ball is an Alfred Deakin Professor in the Institute for Physical
Activity and Nutrition (IPAN) within the School of Exercise and Nutrition
Sciences. She is the Head of IPAN Early- and Mid-Career Researcher Development
and a member of the IPAN Executive committee. Professor Ball's research
focuses on understanding and promoting healthy eating and physical activity,
particularly in high-risk target groups such as young women and people who are
socioeconomically disadvantaged.
