BIO

Alfred Deakin Professor Mari Botti is the Chair of Nursing in a partnership
between Deakin University and Epworth Healthcare. She is also the Director of
the Alfred/Deakin Nursing Research Centre at The Alfred Hospital. Professor
Botti is a sought after clinical expert due to her extensive research related
to pain, pain management and clinical outcomes in acute care settings. She has
worked as a chief investigator and on research teams with a range of
multidisciplinary clinicians, academics and experts. Her completed research
has been influential in changing clinical practices and policy, and she has
been awarded a number of prestigious national and international research
grants. Her track record includes publications in peer reviewed journals, book
chapters, theses, reports and proceedings from local and international
conferences.
