BIO
Dr Melissa Parris is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management in Deakin Business School. Her research areas are primarily in the related fields of Organisational Behaviour and Organisational Studies, with a particular focus on individuals' workplace experiences and the personal effects of these, as well as the related area of Qualitative Research. Melissa's research activities have spanned such areas as managerial career aspirations, workplace teams, experiences of migrant managers, graduate employment, and public administration. Her research has been published in journals such as Organizational Dynamics, International Migration, and the Australian Journal of Public Administration. Melissa previously served as Editor-in-Chief for Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal.
