BIO

Andrew commenced at Deakin in 2011 following 10 years as a prominent full-time University Lecturer then Senior Lecturer elsewhere. His fifth book was published late in 2014. It is titled Northern Lights: The Positive Policy Example of Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. For further details see: http://www.publishing.monash.edu/books/nl-9781921867927.html

Andrew's recent books have helped alter Australian Government policy to extend paid parental leave, move towards universal provision of early childhood education and care, and make taxation arrangements more favourable for lower income earners.
