MrRalf-Dieter Schroers

Ralf is a GIS professional, with expertise in spatial analysis, data science and data system integration. Ralf has worked in the natural resource management and conservation planning sector for over 18 years. He has qualifications in Natural Resource Planning and a M.Sc. degree in Geospatial Science (2006). In the more recent years, Ralf has expanded his knowledge into data science, exploring methods of big data analysis and processing (e.g., electronic health data). His engagement in Health Geography includes having worked with the University of Canberra/Digital Health CRC, and spatial analysis of health risks utilising big data of digital health datasets and time-series information. His engagement comprises built environment and health research with Deakin University/IPAN and with the Australian Catholic University looking at interaction between urban environments and physical/cognitive health.
