BIO

Having spent the past two decades at Deakin University, Jo holds the position of the School Manager for the School of Education. She has led the Business Operations and Governance portfolio, overseeing strategic planning, budget management (approx. $57m), external regulatory accreditation frameworks related to Initial Teacher Education (ITE), staff recruitment, and academic workload allocation.

 

Her prior roles as Administration Manager for the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation and Executive Officer for the School of History, Heritage, and Society equipped her with comprehensive knowledge of University administration.

 

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA, both from Deakin University.
