BIO

Dr Hanoun is an Associate Professor with the Institute for Intelligent Systems Research & Innovation (IISRI) at Deakin University. 

 

He is a solution innovator with expertise in research and development of emerging and innovative software and hardware technologies for real world problems in the field of software engineering for autonomous ground robotics, UAVs, drones, simulation-based training, and human performance evaluation. Dr Hanoun has been a lead and co-lead researcher and project manager of different ARC-linkage, industry-based, CERA, CSIRO STEM+, DST NGTF and Australian innovation hub Defence projects.

 

Mostly, he is industry focused with profound passion for creating compelling and tangible ideas and solutions, and goal-oriented with strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
