BIO

Astrid has received her architectural education at the University of Applied
Sciences Hamburg, Germany. In 2009 she graduated with a PhD in architecture
from HafenCity University Hamburg, Germany. Her research and teaching is
centred around environmental implications of human interaction with the built
environment. Aims are to foster pro environmental behaviour, shape
environmental values, use resources responsibly, and respond to place. Within
that her current research investigates the interactions between the action
logic of building occupants, cultural narratives, energy performance as well
as spatial and climatic context.
