BIO

Dr Claudia Creighton is a senior research fellow in Carbon Fibre and Composites research at Carbon Nexus at the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM), Deakin University. She has over 15 years experience working with the aerospace, automotive and wind turbine manufacturing industries making impact at the forefront of advanced carbon fibre and composites manufacturing. Her research interests include the fundamental understanding of the effect of the carbon fibre production process on the fibre morphology and resulting properties, the implementation of circular economy principles into carbon fibre manufacturing and material recovery from end-of-life (EoL) composite products.
