TEACHING EXPERTISE

Dr Harkin has a Fellowship in Higher Education (FHEA) from the Higher Education Academy. 

He is currently interested in PhD applications from students focused on issues of cyber-security; policing; technology; private security; technology-facilitated abuse in the context of domestic and family violence. A particular interest is in questions of cyber security that impact groups such as journalists, activists, political actors, lawyers, diaspora communities, and other civil society groups.
