    I have been a board director at the Eastern Innovation Business Centre since 2016. Between 2016 and 2022 I was also the Treasurer. From the web presence, 'Eastern Innovation (EI) is a non-for-profit organisation. We are a sustainability-focused innovation and business centre located in Mulgrave, Southeast of Melbourne. EI helps founders launch and rapidly grow sustainable businesses. We provide the culture, places and spaces experiences, programs, partners and networks for success.'

This award recognised the successful deployment of thirty two teams of 3rd year, Information Systems 'Capstone Project' students, to Whitehorse district SME businesses between 2002 and 2005. I have very fond memories of those times and those outstanding young students.
