I was an officially elected academic board member of the Faculty of Business and Law, Deakin University, during this time.

I have been a board director at the Eastern Innovation Business Centre since 2016. Between 2016 and 2022 I was also the Treasurer. From the web presence, 'Eastern Innovation (EI) is a non-for-profit organisation. We are a sustainability-focused innovation and business centre located in Mulgrave, Southeast of Melbourne. EI helps founders launch and rapidly grow sustainable businesses. We provide the culture, places and spaces experiences, programs, partners and networks for success.'

Student project teams were formed in semesters during the four years spanning 2002 and 2005. A total of thirty-two teams (with around 8 students per team) were deployed to Whitehorse District SME businesses to develop information systems including business databases and ecommerce systems. As an ACS Certified Practitioner (CP) member, I am recognised for my professionalism, commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

The ABPMP is a US based BPM Association. A Melbourne Chapter was created during 2015 and I was a board director and Vice President of Educational Services during 2015 and 2017.

As stated on the accompanying trophy, 'This award recognises an outstanding ability to develop strategic partnerships which provide far reaching benefits and opportunities for the business community while practicing excellence in business.' This award recognised the successful deployment of thirty two teams of 3rd year, Information Systems 'Capstone Project' students, to Whitehorse district SME businesses between 2002 and 2005. I have very fond memories of those times and those outstanding young students.
