DrNasim Yazdani

Nasim Yazdani is a Scholarly Services Librarian who works with researchers, academics, and students to support research, learning, and scholarly communication. Drawing on expertise in information discovery, evidence synthesis, research impact, scholarly publishing, and digital literacy, she helps academics and students navigate and engage with the evolving scholarly landscape. She is also involved in initiatives that support open scholarship, and the integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in higher education and research.

Her research interests span Library and Information Studies, Landscape Architecture, Cultural Studies, Migration, Ethnicity and Multiculturalism. She investigates pedagogy, inclusion, research impact reporting, practice-based scholarship, and AI and information literacy in academic libraries, alongside public space use, migration, ethnicity, multiculturalism, and the lived experiences of immigrant and ethnic minority communities. Her work explores how social, cultural, and environmental factors shape belonging, community engagement, and interactions with both social the built environments.
