RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research begins with "existential-phenomenological ethics", which explores how we, individually and collectively, interpret, confront and navigate moral issues, focusing on personal actions in complex social and political contexts.
Building on this foundation, I'm also interested in "political theology" and "political philosophy", which examines the interaction between religious ideas and political power, and questions of governance, justice, rights and social organisations.
My research is increasingly informed by a "feminist critique", highlighting and challenging social norms and structures from a gender equality perspective, whilst acknowledging that a wider range of social identities such as race, gender, class etc. also intersect to shape experiences and structural inequalities.
