BIO

Meg Murray is a Research Assistant employed by Deakin University, Deakin Rural
Health (DRH). She has a background in Psychology and has completed the
Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Psychophysiology) Honours Degree at
Swinburne University of Technology.

Meg has previously worked as a casual researcher for the Murdoch Children's
Research Institute (MCRI) in the field of childhood ADHD. Meg's primary area
of research has focused on contributing to rural population health, with
additional interests in the field of Mental Health and Dementia research. She
has been an investigator for a research and development grant worth more than
AUS$40,000 in the past two years and was an author on the resulting peer
reviewed journal article on Farm Injury. Meg has also undertaken an 'Applied
Suicide Intervention Skills Training' (ASIST)' to due to her research on rural
suicide, and has qualifications in 'Conducting and Designing Research
Interviews', from the University of Melbourne.
