BIO
Gery Karantzas is a Professor of Psychology and Director of the Science of Adult Relationship Laboratory as well as Co-Director of the Centre of Relationships, Trauma, Addiction and Aggression at Deakin University. He is also a member of the Deakin Lifespan Institute. His research focuses on the study of close relationships (romantic and family). Much of this work is grounded in attachment theory and other broad theories of relationship functioning. His research activities have been funded by the Australian Research Council and the National Health and Medical Research Council.
