TEACHING EXPERTISE

I have dedicated most of my academic career to teaching criminology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.. I held the position of Course Director of the Bachelor of Criminology (and combined degrees) from 2016-2022 and have a deep and broad knowledge of Deakin's criminology curriculum. I most enjoy teaching about how criminological research and theory can translate into criminal justice policy and practice, teaching units that prepare students for the challenges presented to people who aspire to meaningful careers in criminal justice (and especially social justice) related roles.
