TEACHING EXPERTISE
Amie initiated and led the lived experience team who produced HDS227/727 "Auslan and the Deaf Community: Health and Wellbeing". The unit received the 2023 Head of School (Health & Social Development) Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching and Learning (Team), the 2024 ADCET Accessibility in Action Award and the 2025 Deakin University Vice Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence.
