With a background as a secondary‑school science teacher and leader, I bring practical classroom expertise and practical curriculum insight to higher education. I prioritise understanding students’ diverse contexts, setting transparent expectations, and scaffolding active, authentic learning that builds confidence and competence.

Institutionalising authentic assessment, WIL, UN SDGs and decolonised content, contributes to student engagement, employability, belonging, and contributes  to staff capability, retention and cross‑unit collaboration.

As a faculty curriculum leader, my innovations have strengthened assessment validity, improved student engagement and employability, and advanced inclusive and sustainable curriculum reform.
