TEACHING EXPERTISE

Junny started her university academic career in 2015, teaching and chairing a unit within Deakin University's Graduate Certificate of Education Business Leadership. In the subsequent 10 years, she also taught a unit of RMIT University Australia's International Studies and held senior management roles in private education institutions in Singapore where her work covered strategic and operational work in Australia and South East Asia.

After repatriation from Singapore to Australia in 2025 Junny rejoined the School of Education at Deakin University. She has facilitated classes and evaluated students' work in a number of undergraduate and Master's units since. Junny has taught more than 600 students and assessed thousands of assignments, helping a number of students complete their studies well in time despite major setbacks or challenges.

Junny has a track record of very high student satisfaction, consistently above 85%. The strongly positive feedback has been predominantly on her engaging theories with practical applications and proven commitment to student success and procedural compliance. In 2026, she also works with Deakin Business School as an examiner of two units and in teaching MMM132 Management. The interdisciplinary work aligns perfectly with her experience, qualifications and commitment to integrating pedagogical and management excellence in education.

At RMIT University, Junny has facilitated  a very popular capstone unit in Bachelor of International Studies which equipped hundreds of students with industry research, career design and capability development skills for successful overseas internships.  She also delivered online lectures for Bentara Cipta Bangsa Polytechnic (Indonesia's first private higher education institute for inclusive education) on collaborative and intercultural approaches to career counselling.
