BIO

Dr M. E. Haque received his Ph.D degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. After completing Ph.D in Electrical Engg, Dr Haque worked as an academic for the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, United
Arab Emirates University, UAE (Assistant Professor) and University of Tasmania (UTAS), Hobart, Australia. He has been awarded the "University of Tasmania Teaching Merit Award", for outstanding contribution in teaching & learning at UTAS in 2010. He has also been awarded a teaching award at Deakin University in 2017. Dr Haque has been actively involved in professional activities and he is a senior member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering), USA. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Journal (IEEE Transaction on Energy Conversion and IEEE Access). He was the founding chair of the IEEE Industry Applications Society, Victoria and Chair of IEEE Power and Energy Society, Victoria.

Dr Haque currently working as an Associate Professor (Electrical Engg and Renewable Energy) in the School of Engineering, Deakin University Australia. His research interests include Renewable energy (wind, Solar PV), Electric vehicles, Battery and supercapacitor energy storage, Digital twin for Microgrid, Smart grid, Cyber security in energy systems, and power electronics applications in Renewables, electric vehicle and energy storage.
