BIO
Dr Jennifer Browne is an Associate Professor within the Deakin Centre for Global Preventive Health and Nutrition (Globe) and the Institute for Health Transformation (IHT). Within IHT, Dr Browne co-leads the Murnong Health Research Mob, a collaborative team of First Nations and non-Indigenous researchers leading a national program of work on the commercial determinants of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. The Murnong Mob works in partnership with a number of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, exemplifying Dr Browne’s commitment to research that is ethical, community-governed and directly relevant to First Nations peoples’ priorities.
