The harmonious integration of built and natural environments is what I do!

Architecture and connecting with nature are what I live and breathe through research, teaching, practice and pleasure. Working with diverse disciplines and stakeholders I’ve been involved in creating healthy habitats for humans, and other living creatures, from urban planning scale to nest box size and everything in between. 

As a researcher and lecturer with Deakin University School of Architecture and Built Environment, I bring applied research and extensive capabilities through her association with Deakins Sustainable Healthy Environment Network (SHEN) and Centre of Excellence to Improve Mental Health (CHIME).

Drawing more than 20 years in architectural practice, including projects in government, health, education, urban and landscape design, I  understand the practical requirement to balance priorities of numerous stakeholders along with innovation and insights to apply and expand the boundaries of knowledge through advanced research. Seeing the potential in every situation and mediating for a collective outcome are abilities that underscore my approach.
