ProfessorChunlu Liu

Dr. Chunlu Liu is a professor of construction management at the School of Architecture and Built Environment at Deakin University. His doctoral thesis, completed at Nagoya University, is entitled "Lifecycle Management of Network-Level Bridges." Prior to joining Deakin University, Dr. Liu was an academic staff member at universities in China, Japan, and England.

At Deakin University, Dr. Liu has taught undergraduate and master's students in construction management courses and has supervised over thirty doctoral students in architecture and the built environment. Additionally, he has held several service roles, such as the school's HDR coordinator and the inaugural course director for the Master of Construction Management (Professional) program. Dr. Liu has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on research outcomes in infrastructure systems, lifecycle management, construction economics, industrial ecology, and sustainable development, some of which were financially supported by governments, industries, and universities.
