RESEARCH INTERESTS
Online communication, marketing communication, crisis communication,
slacktivism, advertising strategy
Knowledge Areas
Changes in professional practice and strategic planning in response to
environmental drivers (in particular online digital interactive media). The
majority of my publications contribute to scholarship within my field of
marketing communication and public relations by examination and critique
through case study. Another thread I have pursued is the impact of new digital
technologies on learning and teaching.
Projects
My current research focuses on consumer slactivism within social media and the
ways in which it can be leveraged to effect strategic change.
