RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests focus on resilient autonomous systems for real-world and safety-critical environments. I am particularly interested in how robotic and autonomous platforms can maintain reliable performance under uncertainty, disturbances, actuator faults, degraded sensing and limited onboard computational resources.

Key areas of interest include:

  • Robust control of autonomous ground vehicles and UAVs
  • Autonomous systems for emergency response, disaster communications and field robotics
  • UAV autonomy, cooperative UAV systems and slung-load control
  • Multimodal perception using RGB, thermal, LiDAR and other sensing modalities
  • Real-time object detection and onboard AI for resource-constrained platforms
