BIO

Iliyas is a Senior Lecturer in the Deakin Business School. Iliyas' research and teaching interests include auditing, capital market research and firms in the SME environment. As part of the team at the SME Research Centre, he has been involved in multiple initiatives including a research report to the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) on service performance reporting for not-for-profits, a submission to the parliamentary enquiry into the regulation of auditing in Australia and the update to the Australian Small Business White Paper. Iliyas holds a PhD and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Monash University.
