    Timothy has authored over 80 publications, including the monograph Wild Articulations: Environmentalism and Indigeneity in Northern Australia (University of Hawai'i Press, 2017) and over 45 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.

    In 2018, Timothy acted as Chair of the Anthropocene Campus Melbourne. This led to the development of the 'Anthropogenic Table of Elements' project, exhibited by the Society for Cultural Anthropology and the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, and an edited collection with University of Toronto Press.

    Timothy is an active member international STS communities, serving as a member of the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S) conference committee in 2018 and 2019, and member of 4S Council in 2022.
