BIO

Dr Navid Mohajer is a Senior Research Fellow at Deakin University, Australia, with over 15 years of expertise in mechatronics and autonomous vehicles. He earned his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (2009), followed by an M.Sc. (2012) and a PhD from Deakin University (2017) focusing on mechatronics and vehicle dynamics. Navid has made leadership and technical contributions to multiple externally funded projects, such as Australia’s first autonomous vehicles convoys and Australia’s first centrifuge acceleration training system. His research is widely published in leading journals and IEEE conferences, with a focus on AI-based control, system integration, and the mechanical design of autonomous and motion simulator platforms.
