BIO
Reza Kachouie is the Course Director of Master of Business Administration (International) and a Senior Lecturer at Deakin Business School. With a multi-disciplinary background in applied mathematics, engineering, entrepreneurship, and marketing, Reza has experience in both academia and industry. He has held several leadership roles at Deakin, including Director of Teaching in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics and Course Director for the Bachelor of Business Analytics.
His research, which explores dynamic capabilities, value innovation, and human-computer interaction, has been published in the Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, European Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Business Research.
Reza's contributions have earned him numerous awards, including the QS Reimagine Education Awards (Bronze Winner in Oceania, 2024; Silver Winner in the Science of Learning category, 2023), the Deakin University Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence (2021, 2024, 2025), the Faculty of Business and Law Teaching and Learning Award (2023, 2024), an Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning (2022), and the Emerald Literati Award (2019).
