My teaching philosophy is grounded in constructive alignment, ensuring coherence between learning outcomes, learning activities, and authentic assessment. I design engaging, inclusive learning environments that integrate active learning, authentic assessment, and timely feedback to help students apply accounting knowledge in professional contexts. Drawing on extensive industry experience alongside scholarly and experiential approaches, I connect accounting theory with practice to develop graduates who are critical thinkers, ethical professionals, and work-ready contributors. Looking ahead, I will continue to embed emerging technologies, industry engagement, and evidence-informed teaching practices to prepare students for an evolving accounting profession shaped by digital transformation and sustainability.

I have chaired and taught the following twelve accounting units listed below at Deakiun University across multiple campuses and delivery modes, from first-year undergraduate (MAA103) to PhD level (MAA908). My teaching has been recognised through multiple commendations from academic leaders. My student evaluation results consistently exceed university averages, with students highlighting my interactive teaching, innovative learning activities, supportive classroom environment, and timely feedback.
