RESEARCH INTERESTS
Rochelle leads a program of clinical research in chronic cardiovascular disease, examining the interaction between patient participation in care and acute care workforce on patient outcomes. A quantitative researcher with methods expertise in risk prediction modelling, propensity analyses and implementation science, projects in Rochelle's research program lead to translational outcomes across Western Health, Nationally and Internationally. Rochelle's team has a variety of projects focused on the following topics:
Early detection and collaborative care in the management of heart disease.
Transitions of care for patients with complex chronic cardiovascular disease.
Reducing low value care in cardiovascular patient cohorts.
Multimodal analgesic effectiveness on acute postoperative pain management after adult cardiac surgery.
Risk factors for 30-day readmission after adult cardiac surgery.
