TEACHING EXPERTISE

I am the unit chair of HSE102 Functional Human Anatomy. I have been teaching tertiary-level anatomy and physiology since 2010.

My teaching philosophy:
I aspire to create student-centered learning environments that involve active learning and critical thinking through inquiry-based methods. I aim to provide multiple learning modalities and scenarios to cater for individual learning preferences and styles to ensure all students are taught content that is achievable yet challenging. I strive to create authentic learning activities and assessment tasks to enhance student motivation and employability, by providing practical examples of how the knowledge and skills are applicable in a variety of fields and professions.
