Associate ProfessorEdwin Lim

Dr Edwin Lim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting in Deakin Business School. Edwin completed his PhD in financial accounting from Monash University in 2015 and has lectured at Monash University before joining Deakin University in 2017. Edwin is a CPA with significant academic and practical experience providing integrated teaching and research across a diverse range of subjects, including financial accounting, corporate reporting, auditing, corporate governance, business strategy, and capital markets.

He has published papers in journals including Auditing: Journal of Practice and Theory, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting Horizons, and Journal of Business Ethics.

His dedication to academia was acknowledged through the receipt of several Faculty/Department teaching-research awards and the prestigious Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT).
