RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dylan is a Medical Humanities scholar with a focus on disability in media and culture. His research interests include: disability, health and illness; gender and sexuality; genre media; Australian and transnational literature; children's literature and media. Along with his book, he has published 3 book chapters, conference proceedings and an online exhibition with AustLit.
He is currently working on an article on Kate Greenaway's gender politics with Sarah Hart, and a book on the intersection of disability and trans representations in horror and thriller cinema with Dr Tom Sandercock.
