DrKim Lam

Kim Lam is a Sociologist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation. She has expertise in youth studies, Buddhist studies, sociology of religion, and experience in grant acquisition, project management, stakeholder engagement, budget monitoring, research partnerships, data analysis, supervision and training, and qualitative, mixed-methods and co-research. She has been employed in academic institutions since 2011 in research, teaching and project coordination roles. Currently she is working on a range of projects relating to refugee and migrant youth digital participation, youth co-research and Buddhism in Australia, funded by VicHealth, Hsing Yun Education Foundation, and the Victorian Government through the Centre for Resilient and Inclusive Societies. She is a Steering Committee Member for the American Academy of Religion' Buddhism in the West' and 'Buddhist Critical Constructive Reflection' Units.
