DrEbony Biden

Dr Ebony Biden holds a PhD in developmental psychology and is an Associate Research Fellow in the Deakin Lifespan Institute. Her program of research aims to strengthen preconception care among all genders and diverse groups, to support psychosocial adjustment in early parenthood and next generation development. Ebony works on the 1 in 10 Men Project developing the world’s first living preconception paternal mental healthcare guidelines, funded by the MRFF and in partnership with Healthy Male and Movember. She also works on an ARC Discovery Project examining father involvement. Ebony has emerging expertise in the area of life course and longitudinal research, having worked with several of Australia's long running prospective cohort studies. Ebony also has experience in teaching and unit administration.
