TEACHING EXPERTISE
A/Prof. Li actively supervises HDR students in the area of sustainable built environments with extensive experience and support. A/Prof. Li has also been professionally recognised as a Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellow, referring to the UK Professional Standards Framework. A/Prof. Li received the Teaching and Learning Award 2023 from the Faculty of Science Engineering & Built Environment (SEBE) for her outstanding contributions to the field of building environmental units through high-quality teaching that benefits diverse student cohorts.
TEACHING ACTIVITIES
- UNIT TAUGHTA/Prof. Li is leading core Building Environmental units that have diverse disciplinary cohorts across faculties, including SRT257 (Building Environmental Studies) in T2 and SRT358 (Building Environmental Services) in T3. These Building Environmental units offer first-class education in the area of sustainable building design and construction, including climate analysis, energy performance assessment, design improvement, and building services. The contemporary unit content enables students to gain leading knowledge in this area, fostering the next generation towards a sustainable future.
- UNIT TAUGHTA/Prof. Li also supervise students in research units, including SRR721 (Construction Research Project) and SRR 402 (Construction Research Thesis), uplifting their research skills.
