TEACHING EXPERTISE

I am passionate about the marine environment, sustainably feeding the world
and educating the next generation of science leaders and the general public to
empower everyone to make the world we live in a better place for all.

My teaching practice is founded on the premise of student engagement in hands-
on experiences and creating 'real-life' learning environments that promote
both individual responsibility for the learning journey and development of
skills to be effective members of teams.

Expertise Summary
Seaweeds/Macroalgae; Experimental marine ecology; Seaweed aquaculture;
Statistical analysis of ecological data
