BIO

Luke's research and teaching light fires and build bridges between digital communication and everyday life. He makes new technolgical relations and power structures visible and knowable. His work is contracted by national organisations and regularly drawn on by international media.

His research approach incorporates Communication and Science and Technology Studies to engage the social study of diverse technological
subjects (e.g. WikiLeaks, 3D printing, Augmented Reality, and antagonistic algorithms) with diverse national and international partners. Luke is interested in research and PhD projects that define new media in the widest terms and consider how these media come to shape our world. He is currently learning how to express critical digital research in material forms.
