BIO

Dr Wolfgang Marx is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of Deakin Universitiy's Food & Mood Centre. A globally recognized expert in Nutritional Psychiatry, his work has been featured in leading journals such as the BMJ, World Psychiatry, and Nature Reviews Disease Primers. His work spans high-impact systematic reviews, clinical trials on probiotics and nutraceuticals, and international clinical and research guidelines. As President of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research, Dr Marx leads international efforts to translate diet-based interventions into mental health practice. He frequently engages with the media, having been featured in The New York Times, National Geographic, and CNN.
