BIO
After working in the media and completing postgraduate study, Cameron transitioned into higher education and began teaching at RMIT University in the Bachelor of Communication (Advertising-Creative). Cameron then moved into the private sector of higher education and held leadership roles in advertising courses and more broadly in the creative industries at several institutions. Cameron has developed course designs and curriculum for a range of undergraduate courses and has a wealth of teaching experience that now spans over 15 years.
Cameron is enrolled in a PhD at Curtin University alongside progressing his emerging research practice. Cameron's interests are around how creative advertising utilises techniques to communicate brand image and its related concepts of brand authenticity, brand heritage and brand nostalgia, and what role they play in consumer responses.
