BIO

Francis Ip is a Senior Research Fellow with Deakin Health Economics, where his work focuses on evaluation of health technology assessment submissions made to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) and Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) in Australia as well as the Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) in Singapore. 

 

Francis holds a Master of Public Health, a Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice, and bachelor’s degrees in both Commerce and Pharmacy, bringing interdisciplinary expertise across public health, economics, and pharmacy. His work spans health technology assessment, cost‑utility modelling, and the application of simulation methods to support evidence‑based policy making and resource allocation and contributes to improving how health systems assess value, optimise patient outcomes, and plan for emerging therapeutic and economic challenges.
