Natalie adopts a learner-centred approach when teaching students in the optometry pre-clinic. She works hard to provide an inclusive and authentic hands-on learning experience by designing clinical practicals that mirror the real-world tasks of optometrists. This allows students to safely practice and refine their clinical skills, as well as consolidate their clinical reasoning and diagnostic abilities before performing procedures on actual patients.
